Payment:
- Kuala Lumpur Sky accepts Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards for online bookings. However, please note that third-party credit cards are not accepted. The credit card used for booking must be in the name of the authorized renter. Additionally, bank transfers are also accepted as a mode of payment.
Cancellation Policy and Refund:
- Renter cancellations made within 7 to 3 days prior to the scheduled rental start date will receive a full refund if the reservation is for more than a week. However, cancellations made less than 48 hours before the rental starts will not be eligible for any refund.
Extension of Rental and Penalty:
- Should renters wish to extend their rental period, add additional drivers, or change pick-up or return locations, it is essential to inform Kuala Lumpur Sky immediately to facilitate the extension of insurance coverage. Failure to notify may result in penalties.
Other Charges: Renters are responsible for paying the following charges:
- Rental charges and optional fees as specified in the rental agreement.
- Charges for loss or damage resulting from non-compliance with rental terms.
- A refueling charge will apply if the vehicle is returned with an insufficient fuel tank.
- Fines and court costs for parking, traffic violations, or other offenses incurred during the rental period. Failure to settle fines with the appropriate authorities may result in an administration fee of MYR20.00 charged by Kuala Lumpur Sky.
- The full cost of repairing or replacing the vehicle in the event of damage or theft, regardless of fault. Renters may opt for Kuala Lumpur Sky’s Liability Reduction Option to reduce their liability.
- Loss of income charges may apply if Kuala Lumpur Sky is unable to rent out the vehicle due to repairs or total loss, and is awaiting full payment of the vehicle’s value. The maximum charge for loss of income is 30 days.
- Charges for any diminution in the value of the vehicle on resale due to damage during the rental period.
- Charges incurred by authorities due to vehicle seizure.
- Delivery and collection fees as determined by Kuala Lumpur Sky.
- Costs, including legal fees, incurred by Kuala Lumpur Sky in collecting payments from the renter.
- Value-added tax and other applicable taxes on the aforementioned charges.
